Corpus Christi Beaches Need You!

Become a Part of the Water Shore and Beach Advisory Committee

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Corpus Christi’s beautiful beaches are the heart and soul of the Texas Gulf Region. Tourists and residents alike enjoy our area’s beaches, from Corpus Christi Bay to the Gulf of Mexico, but these natural resources need protection, so here is where you can help.

The City of Corpus Christi wants people like you to get involved in the Water Shore and Beach Advisory Committee. This group advises and makes recommendations regarding the use or preservation of the following areas within the city limits:

  • The waterfront
  • The beaches
  • The natural bodies of water, including:
  •                   The Gulf of Mexico
  •                   Bays
  •                   Rivers
  •                   Creeks (excluding the Marina area)

There are four possible committee positions available.

Boards, commissions, and committees help keep our City government dynamic, responsive, and accountable. The City could not function without the great advice, expertise, and time provided by the civic volunteers who serve on these boards.

If you are interested in serving on a city board, commission, or committee, please direct them to the City of Corpus Christi’s website at  www.cctexas.com/services/general-government/boards-commission-committees.
