City Library to Help Visitors Travel Back in Time to a Galaxy Far Away

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A long time ago, STAR WARS took audiences on an intergalactic journey and changed the way stories would be told forever. La Retama Central Library invites families to put on their costumes and celebrate the saga at “STAR WARS, May the Force be with You.”

The free event will allow fans to immerse themselves in the space fantasy's universe with crafts, games, and a costume contest. Attendees can also experience virtual-reality adventures, take pictures with props, and even meet members of the STAR WARS costume group known as the 501st Legion.

The event will take place on Saturday, December 7, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at 805 Comanche Street.
